Philip F Judy participates in the National Lung Screening Trial (NLST http://www.cancer.gov/clinicaltrials/noteworthy-trials/nlst ), which is evaluating the usefulness of CT screening of individuals at high risk for lung cancer. He serves on the Physics Committee of NLST and is Site Principal investigator for NLST at Brigham and Women’ Hospital.. He is a member of the Imaging Committee of the COPDGene Study ( http://www.copdgene.org/ ). The COPDGene Study is investigating the underlying genetic factors of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
